Itinerary

Our adventure commences in Marrakech, where we'll promptly pick you up from your hotel or riad to kick off an exhilarating 4x4 jeep tour through the magnificent Imlil Valley.

Our route will wind through the Haouz plain, leading us towards the Agafay desert, just an hour's drive from Marrakech. En route, we'll pause at Lake Takerkoust, a vital water source in this arid region of Morocco, offering a moment of serenity amidst the rugged landscape.

Next, we'll venture into the charming town of Aguergour, where we'll pause to share a comforting cup of mint-infused Berber tea with a hospitable local family. Here, you'll have the chance to immerse yourself in the rich traditions of the nomadic Berber people as we explore the picturesque valley of the Plateau de Kik.

Continuing onwards, we'll make a stop in the picturesque town of Asni, and if our excursion falls on a Saturday, we'll have the opportunity to visit its bustling Berber market, a vibrant hub where locals from the Atlas Mountains gather weekly for trade.

Arriving in Imlil, a knowledgeable local guide fluent in Spanish will lead us on a guided tour of its distinctive buildings, ingeniously adapted to the rugged terrain of the High Atlas. To truly absorb the beauty of these landscapes, we'll embark on a leisurely mule ride lasting approximately one hour.

Returning to our SUV, we'll venture into various Berber locales, including Aroumed, renowned for its breathtaking terraces of cherry and walnut trees, offering sweeping vistas of North Africa's highest peak, Jebel Toubkal.

Feeling hungry? It's time to indulge in an authentic traditional Moroccan meal in Tagadirt, hosted by a Berber family (cost not included)! Following lunch, we'll take a leisurely stroll around the town before commencing our return journey to Marrakech.

After eight hours of exploration and discovery, our excursion will draw to a close as we return you to your starting point in Marrakech, filled with memories of a day spent immersed in the captivating beauty and rich cultural tapestry of Morocco.
